Including homes being placed back on the market, fifty-five (55) homes were added to the MLS in the Yuba-Sutter area last week.  Of those, 20 were new listings in Sutter County and Yuba County had 21 new listings.

Of the 278 current listings, 21 homes had their asking price lowered.  Homes for sale range from 1 bedrooms to 4, 1 bath to 2.  Their sizes vary greatly; 404 sq ft to 1,688 and are priced from $15,000 (a mobile home) to $3,900,000 for a condo complex. 

Of these 56 are bank owned properties and 51 are short sales.  This means that 61.5% of the homes listed for sale in our area are equity sales, a figure improved over even last week!

Fifty-one (51) homes were sold last week and another fifty-seven (57) homes that were under contract got new owners (closed)!
