Including homes being placed back on the market, seventy-four (74) homes were added to the MLS in the Yuba-Sutter area last week.  Of those, 28 were new listings in Sutter County and Yuba County had 31 new listings.

Of the 269 current listings, 49 are bank owned properties and 50 are short sales.  This means that 63% of the homes listed for sale in our area are equity sales, and this percentage continues to rise!

Twenty-one (21) homes had their asking price lowered (1 had a price increase!).

Forty (40) homes were sold last week and ninety-eight (98) homes that were under contract got new owners (closed)!

Including homes being placed back on the market, sixty-one (61) homes were added to the MLS in the Yuba-Sutter area last week.  Of those, 9 were new listings in Sutter County and Yuba County had 20 new listings.  In addition 30 current listings had their prices adjusted.

Of the 276 current listings, homes range from 1 bedroom to 6, 1 bath to 3.  Their sizes vary greatly; 456 sq. ft. to 32,000 and are priced from $9,500 (a mobile home) to $5,400,000 for a beautiful 1500 acre ranch. 

Of these 53 are bank owned properties and 37 are short sales.  This means that 67% of the homes listed for sale in our area are equity sales!

Fifty-seven (57) homes were sold (went pending) last week and thirty-seven (38) homes that were under contract got new owners (closed)!

Last week 46 homes were newly listed for sale in the MLS.  In addition, 20 previously listed homes were placed back on the market, 25 currently listed homes had their asking prices lowered and 3 had a price increase!  To view them simply click the links above (bold, blue & underlined text).

Currently there are 274 homes listed for sale in Yuba and Sutter Counties.  Prices range from $7,005 (a mobile home in Rebel Ridge Village mobile home park) to $1,590,000 for a vineyard and winery. 

Of these 55 are bank owned properties and 35 are short sales.  More than 67% of the homes listed for sale in our area are equity sales, better than the national average!  You may also notice that short sale numbers are increasing in relation to the foreclosures.

 Fifty-four (54) homes were sold last week and forty-one (41) homes that were in escrow (under contract) closed!  Of these 95, twenty-four were bank owned and another twenty-eight were short sales. Again, the short sales have gained over the REOs.

Of these 56 are bank owned properties and 51 are short sales.  This means that 61.5% of the homes listed for sale in our area are equity sales, a figure improved over even last week!
